The ECB has published England’s 2027 home schedule, headlined by the Ashes and a World Test Championship final at The Kia Oval.
WTC final
The Oval will stage the final of the 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle from June 9 to 13, 2027. It also hosted the 2023 final, in which Australia beat India by 209 runs.
Men’s Ashes
England host Australia in a five-Test series, preceded by a warm-up between England Lions and Australia at Old Trafford from June 7 to 10.

Other home series
Before the 2027 World Cup in southern Africa, Harry Brook’s England host Pakistan for five ODIs: Southampton (May 15), Manchester (May 19), Leeds (May 21), Chester-le-Street (May 23) and Cardiff (May 26). Bangladesh then play a one-off Test at Lord’s from May 28 to June 1.
After the Ashes, New Zealand tour for three T20Is, in Chester-le-Street (September 7), Manchester (September 9) and Cardiff (September 11), and five ODIs in Birmingham (September 14), Lord’s (September 16), Bristol (September 19), Nottingham (September 22) and Leeds (September 25).
England Women also play Bangladesh Women in September, with T20Is at Northampton (8th), Taunton (10th) and Worcester (12th), and ODIs at Hove (17th), Canterbury (21st) and Chelmsford (24th).
