Australia’s white-ball programme for the coming weeks is now clear, with a three-match ODI series in Pakistan followed by six limited-overs games in Bangladesh.
Pakistan leg
The squad will land in Islamabad before the first ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30. The second and third ODIs take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4. Every game starts at 4:30pm local time.
Bangladesh leg
The Bangladesh tour follows straight after. It opens with three ODIs in Dhaka from June 9, at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The action then moves to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series starting June 17, at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium. The Bangladesh fixtures had been announced earlier.
All games on both tours will be shown live on Kayo Sports and Fox Cricket.
Squad news
The selection committee, led by George Bailey, is expected to name the squads soon. Reports suggest regular captain Pat Cummins and senior seamers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood are likely to be rested. In that case Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis are emerging as the frontrunners to captain the ODI side.
