How the match was won
It was Bangladesh’s first Test win over Australia. Hasan Mahmud took a career-best 6 for 55 as Australia were bowled out for 198. Tanzid Hasan made 101 in only his second Test, his maiden hundred, and Bangladesh totalled 426 to lead by 228.
Australia’s second innings ended on 284, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz taking five wickets. Bangladesh then knocked off the target of 57 with nine wickets in hand.
