Sri Lanka will spend roughly six weeks in Pakistan this autumn, playing all three formats between October and November 2026. Here is how the schedule breaks down.
Three T20Is in Rawalpindi
The tour opens with a T20I series, all of it at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The matches are on October 9, 11 and 13, so the series is done within five days before attention turns to 50-over cricket.
ODI tri-series with England
The ODI phase is a Tri-Nation Series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England. Pakistan play Sri Lanka twice, and England and Sri Lanka also meet twice in the group stage, with games split between Rawalpindi and Lahore.
| Date | Fixture | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| October 18 | Pakistan v Sri Lanka | Rawalpindi |
| October 20 | Pakistan v England | Rawalpindi |
| October 22 | Sri Lanka v England | Rawalpindi |
| October 25 | Pakistan v England | Lahore |
| October 27 | Pakistan v Sri Lanka | Lahore |
| October 29 | Sri Lanka v England | Lahore |
The top two teams advance to the final, scheduled for October 31 in Lahore.
Two Tests to finish
Sri Lanka then have a short red-ball build-up, a three-day warm-up against a Patrons XI in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. The first Test is in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, and the second is at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21, which ends the tour.
Both Tests count towards the 2025–27 ICC World Test Championship cycle, and each side will want to improve its position in the standings.
