CPL 2026 Starts on August 7, With Arnos Vale a New Host Venue

The 2026 Caribbean Premier League will start on August 7 and run until September 20, with matches spread across eight territories: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Arnos Vale joins the circuit

The big addition is Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent, which will stage CPL games for the first time. The ground has hosted 36 men’s internationals and was used during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, when spin-friendly conditions were a major factor.

CPL chief executive Pete Russell said the move to new venues fits the league’s long-term aim of bringing top-level cricket closer to Caribbean fans. He called Arnos Vale a fantastic venue with a proud cricketing history and said the league was excited to engage local supporters.

New franchise and a Hundred clash

A seventh team, Jamaica Kingsmen, joins the competition this year. The schedule overlaps with The Hundred in England, which could affect the availability of some international players in the later stages.

Finals in Barbados

The Eliminator, Qualifiers and Final will all be played at Kensington Oval in Barbados from September 16 to 20. Trinbago Knight Riders arrive as defending champions and the most successful side in CPL history, with five titles.
