Zimbabwe will welcome Bangladesh for a full tour across all three formats, with matches split between Harare and Bulawayo.
How the tour unfolds
The visitors begin with a one-off Test at Harare Sports Club on June 28. When the two sides last played a Test series, Zimbabwe secured a memorable win before it finished 1-1, a sign of how competitive they have become in red-ball cricket. The three ODIs follow in Harare on July 6, 9 and 11, after which the T20I leg moves to Bulawayo on July 15, 17 and 19.
Recent history
Bangladesh last visited Zimbabwe in 2022, when the hosts won both the ODI and T20I series. Zimbabwe come into this tour with fresh confidence after reaching the Super Eights at the recent T20 World Cup, held in India and Sri Lanka, for the first time in their history.
Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Givemore Makoni, quoted by Cricbuzz, said the board was delighted to confirm a highly competitive series. He described the tour as hugely significant because it brings top-level international cricket back to Zimbabwe’s home grounds following the team’s strong showing at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year.
