Sri Lanka Women will host Australia Women for a three-match one-day series in December 2026, with every game scheduled for the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
Tour details
Sri Lanka Cricket has said the Australian squad will land in the country on December 10, which leaves five days to settle in and prepare before the first ODI on December 15. The second match follows on December 18, and the series ends with the third ODI on December 20.
The matches belong to the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29. That makes each result count for both sides, as teams collect points in the race to qualify for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
What it means for both teams
For Sri Lanka, playing at home in familiar conditions offers a chance to pick up valuable points against one of the strongest teams in the women’s game. Australia will aim for a fast start to the tour and to take points from all three contests.
