Sunrisers Eastern Cape vs Joburg Super Kings Prediction & Match Preview – SA20 24th Match

Sunrisers Eastern Cape host Joburg Super Kings in the 24th match of SA20 2025-26 at St George’s Park in Gqeberha. The fixture is scheduled for the early evening local time.

The Sunrisers’ squad includes Tristan Stubbs, Marco Jansen, Jonny Bairstow, Quinton de Kock, Anrich Nortje and Adam Milne. Joburg Super Kings are led by Faf du Plessis and also have James Vince, Donovan Ferreira, Akeal Hosein, Wiaan Mulder and Imran Tahir in their squad.

St George’s Park often starts well for batters but slows as the game goes on. Seamers may get movement with the new ball, the longer square boundaries reward timing over power, and spinners become more effective once the surface grips. Matches here are often decided by middle-overs control rather than powerplay hitting alone.

Pitch report

St George’s Park offers a balanced surface. Fast bowlers can find movement and bounce early, particularly under cloud or with a fresh ball. The pitch then flattens, helping batters build partnerships through the middle overs. Spinners may find some help later, though turn is rarely dramatic, and teams winning the toss often choose to bat first.

Weather

Around 5:30 pm local time it should be warm and pleasant at roughly 26 °C, with partly cloudy skies, light to moderate breezes and little chance of rain.

Expected scores

• 1st innings: 155–175
• 2nd innings: 145–170
