Rawalpindiz vs Multan Sultans Prediction & Preview – PSL 2026 (21 Apr)

Rawalpindiz meet Multan Sultans in the 31st match of the Pakistan Super League 2026 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The game is scheduled for the evening and is expected to be a good match for batters.

Rawalpindiz are likely to be led by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, with Shahzaib Khan, Yasir Khan, Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings in the top order. Dian Forrester, Saad Masood and Cole McConchie provide depth, and the bowling includes Razaullah, Asif Afridi and Mohammad Amir.

Multan, captained by Ashton Turner, have Steven Smith, Josh Philippe and Shan Masood among the batters, with Awais Zafar also in the likely XI. Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Peter Siddle and Momin Qamar make up the bowling group.

We expect strong starts in the powerplay and 45–60 runs in the final five overs if set batters are still at the crease. The pitch may slow slightly later on, and spinners could struggle with a wet ball. Our preview picks Multan Sultans.

Probable playing XI

Pitch report

Gaddafi Stadium is known as a batting-friendly venue, with a flat surface, consistent bounce and a fast outfield that favours high-scoring white-ball cricket. Pacers may get a little swing early, especially in day-night games, but the pitch becomes easier for batting as the match goes on. Dew in the evening can make the ball slippery and help the chasing team.

Expected scores

• 1st innings: 175–195
• 2nd innings: 165–185
