Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi Prediction & Match Preview – PSL 2026, 32nd Match

Karachi Kings face Peshawar Zalmi in the 32nd match of the 2026 Pakistan Super League with very different stakes. Karachi are expected to field their strongest available side for what the preview describes as a must-win game, with Azam Khan due to come in for Saad Baig.

Karachi’s batting leans on Salman Agha, Reeza Hendricks, Jason Roy and Azam Khan. Agha’s form is a concern, as he has scored only 86 runs in seven matches. The bowling will rest with Mir Hamza, Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, Khushdil Shah and Adam Zampa.

Peshawar Zalmi have been outstanding, winning seven in a row to become the first side into the playoffs. Babar Azam, Mohammad Haris, Kusal Mendis, Farhan Yousuf and Aaron Hardie are expected to carry the batting, while Sufyan Muqeem, Ali Raza, Mohammad Basit, Michael Bracewell and Iftikhar Ahmed lead the bowling. Given that form, our preview picks Zalmi.

Pitch report

Gaddafi Stadium usually has a flat surface with even bounce and a fast outfield, which suits stroke-makers, particularly in day games. The new ball can swing slightly early on, and spinners may find a little grip as the pitch dries. Dew is expected to play little part in an afternoon start.

Weather

Expect an extremely hot, dry afternoon, with temperatures of roughly 39–41°C and a higher feels-like figure under bright sun. Rain is highly unlikely and humidity is low, though the heat could test the players’ stamina.

Expected scores

• 1st innings: 170–185
• 2nd innings: 160–175
