Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Peshawar Zalmi Prediction & Preview – PSL 2026

Hyderabad Kingsmen play Peshawar Zalmi in the 15th match of the 2026 Pakistan Super League, an evening game at the National Stadium in Karachi on 8 April.

Hyderabad are captained by Marnus Labuschagne and have a squad featuring Saim Ayub, Usman Khan, Kusal Perera, Sharjeel Khan and Maaz Sadaqat. Riley Meredith, Ottneil Baartman and Mohammad Ali form the pace group, with Maheesh Theekshana a spin option in our expected line-up.

Peshawar, led by Babar Azam, have Kusal Mendis, Mohammad Haris, Aaron Hardie, Michael Bracewell and James Vince in their squad, with Aamer Jamal, Shoriful Islam and Sufiyan Muqeem among the bowlers.

A fast outfield and flat pitch point to plenty of runs, and dew is likely to help whoever chases. We favour Peshawar Zalmi.

Pitch report

National Stadium in Karachi is usually a good surface for batters, with a flat deck, true bounce and a fast outfield that makes big T20 totals common. Seamers can get some movement or swing with the new ball, but the pitch eases as the game goes on. Spinners may find some help in the middle overs, although sharp turn is rare. Dew often appears in evening games and can favour the chasing side.

Weather

Karachi is expected to be warm and dry on 8 April, with evening temperatures of about 30–32°C, mostly clear skies and light breezes. Rain is very unlikely at this time of year and humidity should be moderate, so a full match is expected.

Expected scores

• 1st innings: 175–190
• 2nd innings: 165–185
