Rayudu and Finch Praise SRH’s Young Bowlers After Win Over CSK

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s two youngest bowlers earned warm praise from Ambati Rayudu and Aaron Finch after helping beat Chennai Super Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Shivang Kumar and Sakib Hussain, both fairly inexperienced, finished with combined figures of 7-0-50-2 and played a big part in stalling CSK’s chase of 195 after a fast start.

Shivang Kumar’s control

Brought on soon after the powerplay, Shivang began with a tight over that cost seven runs, followed with another economical spell and then bowled a 12th over that went for only three runs, which slowed Chennai’s momentum.

Rayudu admired his courage and execution, saying his readiness to attack in the middle overs made a big difference and was just what teams want in modern T20 cricket. Finch highlighted his tactical thinking, noting how he used changes of pace to outfox the batters, including one well-planned dismissal.

Sakib Hussain’s breakthrough

Sakib continued his rise after a strong debut. He was a little expensive in the powerplay but tightened his lines in the middle overs. In the 17th over he removed Shivam Dube, who was becoming dangerous on 21 off 15 balls.

Their combined work proved decisive, as SRH kept their nerve in the closing stages to take a memorable home win.
