Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators Prediction & Preview – PSL 2026

Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators meet in the 29th match of the Pakistan Super League 2026 at the National Stadium in Karachi, with the game scheduled under lights.

Peshawar’s possible XI is captained by Babar Azam and features Mohammad Haris, Kusal Mendis as wicketkeeper, Farhan Yousaf, Iftikhar Ahmed and Michael Bracewell in the batting order. Abdul Samad, Aaron Hardie, Sufiyan Muqeem, Mohammad Basit and Ali Raza complete the line-up.

Quetta, led by Saud Shakeel, are expected to field Shamyl Hussain, Rilee Rossouw, Hasan Nawaz and wicketkeeper Khawaja Nafay at the top of the order. Tom Curran and Jahandad Khan offer all-round options, while Alzarri Joseph, Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tariq and Ahsan Ali are among the bowlers named.

The new ball phase is important because early seam movement can make top-order wickets valuable. Spinners can still contribute if they vary their pace, and dew is likely to make life harder for bowlers in the second innings. Our preview picks Peshawar Zalmi.

Pitch report

Karachi’s National Stadium is generally batter-friendly: a flat surface with true bounce and a fast outfield, so high T20 totals are common. Pacers may find some movement or swing with the new ball, but the pitch becomes easier for batting later. Spinners can get help in the middle overs without sharp turn. In evening games, dew often makes gripping the ball difficult in the second innings and tends to favour the chasing side.

Expected scores

• 1st innings: 165–185
• 2nd innings: 155–175
