Bangladesh A vs Pakistan A Prediction & Match Preview – Rising Stars Asia Cup Final

Bangladesh A go into the final with their openers in good touch. Habibur Rahman Sohan has made a century and a fifty in his last four innings and delivered under pressure in the knockout win over India A, while Jishan Alam found his rhythm in the semi-final after a patchy start to the event. The middle order has been less consistent, but SM Meherob’s unbeaten 48 off 18 balls at No. 6 lifted the total to 194 in that semi. Zawad Abrar and Akbar Ali are the other batters who often decide whether Bangladesh reach a competitive score.

Their bowling has been a concern, with Abu Hider Rony and Ripon Mondol struggling for wickets and economy, so Abdul Gaffar Saqlain and Rakibul Hasan carry extra responsibility in the final.

Pakistan A look strong and balanced. Maaz Sadaqat has been excellent at the top, and he and Mohammad Naeem are expected to provide the platform. The middle order was tested in the semi-final for only the second time, with Yasir Khan and Mohammad Faiq struggling to lift the scoring rate, while captain Irfan Khan and Saad Masood offer more at the finish. Sufiyan Muqeem and Maaz Sadaqat are the main wicket-takers, Ahmed Daniyal has found form in his last two games after a poor outing against Oman, and Shahid Aziz remains steady.
