Rajshahi Warriors vs Sylhet Titans Prediction & Match Preview – BPL Qualifier 2
Rajshahi Warriors and Sylhet Titans meet in Qualifier 2 of the 2025-26 Bangladesh Premier League at Mirpur, with a place in the final at stake. Rajshahi have a deep batting order with experience throughout. Sahibzada Farhan and Tanzid Hasan Tamim are both aggressive openers who can take a game away quickly, though a tricky pitch and a strong Sylhet attack will test them.
That puts extra responsibility on captain Najmul Hossain Shanto at number three, who must anchor and build partnerships with an opener and with Mushfiqur Rahim, the side’s most experienced player. James Neesham and Ryan Burl add depth, although a low, slow surface may limit freedom for the finishers. In the attack, Binura Fernando, Ripon Mondol and Hasan Murad are expected to lead, with Abdul Gaffar Saqlain another wicket-taking option. Tanzim Hasan Sakib is a notable absentee after being left out of the previous XI.
Sylhet have a good chance of reaching the final and field a rounded squad. Their bowling, with Nasum Ahmed, Salman Irshad, Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes, has been in good rhythm, and Khaled Ahmed made a decisive impact after being brought in for the Eliminator. Batting is the question. They lost seven wickets chasing 112 last time, and while Parvez Hossain Emon anchors the top and Afif Hossain, Sam Billings and Mehidy Hasan Miraz form a strong middle order, the lack of consistent top-four scorers remains a worry.

Pitch report
The Mirpur surface in this tournament has been slow and low, which makes strokeplay harder, particularly in the middle overs. Spinners and cutters should be central and run-rotators are likely to outperform pure power hitters. Dew could make a chase slightly easier, but no total will feel safe. Anything above 155 batting first would be a strong score.
Weather
Around 6:00 pm local time on 21 January, Dhaka should be dry and pleasant with clear or mostly clear skies and temperatures of about 23–25°C. Humidity is moderate, light northerly or north-westerly winds are possible and the chance of rain is extremely low.
Expected scores
- 1st innings: 145–160
