Kandy Falcons face Jaffna Kings in the 13th match of the Lanka Premier League 2026 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Sunday 26 July. It is an afternoon game in warm, humid conditions with a chance of a passing shower.
The Falcons are likely to field Kusal Perera, Lahiru Udara and Dale Phillips at the top, with captain Angelo Mathews, Moeen Ali and Vijay Shankar in the middle. Wanindu Hasaranga and Shaheen Afridi head a bowling group that also has Dushan Hemantha, Asitha Fernando and Vishen Halambage.
Jaffna Kings, led by Bhanuka Rajapaksa, have Avishka Fernando and Kamil Mishara at the top, with all-rounders Shakib Al Hasan, David Wiese and Dunith Wellalage adding balance. Piyush Chawla, Traveen Mathew, Dilshan Madushanka and Lizaad Williams make up the bowling. Both sides are well stocked, but the Kings’ mix of experienced all-rounders and spin gives them a slight advantage.
