Colombo Strikers meet Jaffna Kings in the 15th match of the Lanka Premier League 2026 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday 28 July, with a 7:30 pm local start under lights.
The Strikers’ likely line-up is led by Kusal Mendis, who captains and keeps wicket. Ben McDermott, Rubin Hermann, Kamindu Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama form a deep top and middle order, James Neesham and Janith Liyanage add all-round depth, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Binura Fernando lead the bowling.
Conditions should be a key factor. The surface offers early movement for the new ball and then settles for batting, and dew is likely to make life harder for the bowling side in the second innings. That makes the toss important, and bowling first looks the sensible option. We narrowly prefer Jaffna Kings in a game that could go either way.
