England’s Harry Brook has climbed to a career-best fourth in the ICC T20I batting rankings after a strong home series against Sri Lanka. He scored 170 runs in three matches, including an unbeaten century in the opening game.

India’s Ishan Kishan stays first, with Abhishek Sharma second and Sahibzada Farhan third. Jos Buttler moved up two places to fifth after two half-centuries in the series.

Brook across formats

Brook’s 67 in the first ODI against Sri Lanka lifted him to 12th in the ODI rankings, and he remains the top-ranked Test batter. He is now inside the top 15 in all three formats.

New number one bowler

There was a change at the top of the T20I bowling list. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan lost the No. 1 spot after conceding 43 for 1 in the third T20I against India. Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed took over as the top-ranked bowler for the first time.

England’s Jamie Overton jumped 47 places to sixth after taking five wickets for 58 runs across the three T20Is against Sri Lanka.

Raza second among ODI allrounders

Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza passed Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz to take second place among ODI allrounders. In the home series against Australia he made 57, 45 and an unbeaten 81 and took three wickets. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai remains first.
