Vida Kovai Kings and Dindigul Dragons meet in the 25th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2026 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The game begins at 3:30 pm local time on Friday, so this is an afternoon contest played in heat and humidity.
Vida Kovai Kings are captained by Shahrukh Khan, with Suresh Lokeshwar keeping wicket. Their likely XI mixes S Radhakrishnan, Balasubramaniam Sachin and Madhava Prasad in the batting group with G Kishoor, Manimaran Siddharth and R Divakar among the bowling options. Dindigul Dragons are led by wicketkeeper-batter Baba Indrajith, and their line-up includes Shivam Singh, VK Vineeth and Hunny Saini. Sandeep Warrier and Nirankar Sharma are in the bowling group.
The slightly slow Chennai surface should give spinners a say through the middle overs, so the side that rotates the strike well after the powerplay will have an edge. Batting first and posting something in the region of 170 would be a good target. With showers possible, a short delay should not be ruled out. On balance, our preview gives Vida Kovai Kings a narrow advantage.
