The tournament was held in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016, then again in 2021 after the 2020 edition was postponed. The 2022 and 2024 editions followed.
Finals of note
The inaugural 2007 final was won by India over Pakistan, by five runs. West Indies’ 2016 win over England in Kolkata is remembered for Carlos Brathwaite hitting four consecutive sixes in the last over.
