Lara and the Antigua ground
Lara’s two highest Test scores, 375 in 1994 and 400 not out in 2004, were both made against England at the Antigua Recreation Ground in St John’s. He broke Sobers’s long-standing record with 375, and later reclaimed the record from Matthew Hayden with his 400.
