Trichy Grand Cholas take on Vida Kovai Kings in Qualifier 2 of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2026 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday evening, with the winner moving on to the final.
Trichy are captained by wicketkeeper Jayaraman Suresh Kumar and have K Rajkumar, S Shyam Sundar, Sanjay Yadav and Jafar Jamal in the batting group. Antony Dhas, V Athisayaraj Davidson and N Selva Kumaran are among the bowlers.
Vida Kovai Kings, led by Shahrukh Khan, are anchored by wicketkeeper Suresh Lokeshwar and include S Radhakrishnan, Balasubramaniam Sachin, Andre Siddarth C and Madhava Prasad. G Kishoor, Manimaran Siddharth and Jhathavedh Subramanyan form much of the bowling.
Weather looks favourable, and dew later in the evening may suit a chase. We expect a score in the region of 180–190 to be possible, though 160–165 should be competitive and 170-plus would put real pressure on the chasing team. Our preview gives Vida Kovai Kings a narrow edge.
