This BPL 2025-26 fixture brings together two sides near the foot of the table. Dhaka Capitals have just one win from four matches and sit second from bottom, while Noakhali Express are rooted at the bottom after four straight defeats, the latest a heavy six-wicket loss to Sylhet Titans in which they were dismissed for 61.
Dhaka’s brightest batter has been Shamim Hossain with 113 runs from four innings. Mohammad Mithun has given the order stability with 76 runs at a strike rate of 125, and Sabbir Rahman has made 65 at 144. Imad Wasim has four wickets at an economy under five, Salman Mirza and Mohammad Saifuddin have shared six, and Taskin Ahmed adds extra pace.
Noakhali’s Mahidul Islam Ankon has 113 runs at a strike rate of 97, captain Haider Ali has 66, and Jaker Ali and Shykat Ali can produce quick cameos, though the batting as a whole has struggled to accelerate. Hasan Mahmud has five wickets at an economy of 5.14, and Mehedi Hasan Rana has five but at close to eight an over. Noakhali badly need a couple of convincing wins to rescue their season.
