Trinbago Knight Riders face Saint Lucia Kings in the 17th match of CPL 2026 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad. It starts at 7:00 pm local time on Wednesday.
Trinbago’s probable XI is led by wicketkeeper-captain Nicholas Pooran and includes Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Matthew Breetzke and Kieron Pollard. Sunil Narine and Akeal Hosein provide spin and Usman Tariq and Nathan Edward give the attack pace.
Saint Lucia are captained by Roston Chase, with Tim Seifert behind the stumps. Kamil Pooran, John Campbell and Johann Jeremiah are in the batting group, and Shadley van Schalkwyk, Matthew Forde and Maheesh Theekshana are among the bowling options. The squad also lists Andries Gous, Charith Asalanka and Noor Ahmad.
The pitch should give batters value early, so a strong powerplay can lay the foundation for 165-plus. Batters who keep wickets in hand can accelerate in the last five overs. If dew arrives, bowling first and chasing is the better choice. Our preview picks the hosts.
