Trinbago Knight Riders host Barbados Tridents in the 19th match of CPL 2026 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba. The game starts at 8:00 pm local time on Friday.
Trinbago’s probable XI is captained by wicketkeeper Nicholas Pooran and has Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Matthew Breetzke and Kieron Pollard to bat around him. Sunil Narine and Akeal Hosein bring spin, and Usman Tariq and Nathan Edward lead the pace attack.
Barbados are captained by Chris Green and have Quinton de Kock behind the stumps. Zachary Carter, Sherfane Rutherford and Rivaldo Clarke are in the batting group, Daniel Sams adds all-round depth, and Gudakesh Motie, Ramon Simmonds and Mujeeb Ur Rahman provide much of the bowling.
The venue has been bowler-friendly, with the surface often slowing as the innings goes on. A total of 165 or more should be competitive, with 175-plus giving the side batting first a strong position. Because chasing teams have done well here recently, bowling first could be the preferred call at the toss. Rain is a moderate risk. We give Trinbago the advantage.
