Sharjah Warriorz and Gulf Giants meet at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the 16th match of ILT20 2025-26, with the two teams in very different places in the standings.
The Warriorz have found the season hard, having lost all three of their matches so far. A win would help restore confidence and revive their campaign. Their likely line-up features Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Johnson Charles, Sikandar Raza, James Rew, Adil Rashid and Taskin Ahmed, with Matheesha Pathirana in the attack.
The Giants have been far steadier. Led by James Vince, they have won three of five and sit second on the points table. Another victory would not change their position, but it would bring two valuable points and a better net run-rate, both important for qualification. Pathum Nissanka, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Azmatullah Omarzai and Mark Adair give them a balanced side.
On a true surface with short boundaries, a total near 180 could prove decisive. Given the form lines, our preview backs Gulf Giants.
