Barbados Tridents and Jamaica Kingsmen meet in the Eliminator of the 2026 Caribbean Premier League, at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown on Wednesday 16 September.
Barbados are led by Chris Green. The expected line-up has Brandon King, Zachary Carter and Quinton de Kock at the top, with Sherfane Rutherford and Kevlon Anderson in the middle order. George Linde, Gudakesh Motie, AM Ghazanfar and Johann Layne make up the bowling, alongside Sadrack Descarte.
Jamaica, captained by Rovman Powell, have Maaz Sadaqat, Kirk McKenzie and Keacy Carty at the top of the order, with Usman Khan keeping wicket. Andre Russell, Hassan Khan, Keemo Paul, Odean Smith, Vitel Lawes and Hunain Shah give them all-round and bowling strength.
Around 165 should be a competitive total, and 170 or more would give the batting-first side a strong advantage. Early wickets could make a chase difficult, and a strong powerplay will matter for the side batting second.
