Pakistan Women have announced their ODI squad for the home series against Zimbabwe, headlined by a first call-up for Momina Riasat as the selectors keep testing new talent ahead of important assignments.
Squad and leadership
The group keeps a strong experienced core, including Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Muneeba Ali and Sidra Amin. Fatima Sana continues as captain.
Pakistan will want to bounce back after losing both the ODI and T20I series to South Africa by 2-1. They showed encouraging signs despite those defeats and will aim to build consistency at home against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe’s first white-ball tour
This is the first time Zimbabwe Women will tour Pakistan for a white-ball series, which adds extra interest. The visitors are due in Karachi on April 29 and will begin training at the National Bank Stadium before the series starts.
All matches in both the ODI and T20I series will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
