The ILT20 2025-26 table could change shape in Dubai, where Gulf Giants meet the unbeaten Desert Vipers. The Giants are second with three wins from four matches, and their most recent result was a solid victory over Sharjah Warriorz. A win here would lift them to the top of the standings and strengthen their push for the playoffs.
The Vipers have won all four of their matches so far and will want to keep playing the same confident cricket. Their expected line-up features Fakhar Zaman, Andries Gous, Max Holden and Sam Curran at the top, with Shimron Hetmyer and Dan Lawrence in the middle order, Lockie Ferguson leading the attack alongside Khuzaima Tanveer and Noor Ahmad. The Giants are expected to field Pathum Nissanka, James Vince, Moeen Ali and Gerhard Erasmus, backed by Mark Adair and Aayan Afzal Khan with the ball.
Desert Vipers have also beaten the Giants in each of their last four meetings, according to our earlier ILT20 preview of the fixture, which, together with their unbeaten run, is why our preview leans towards them.
